Stop-motion opening animation for Festival of Communication and Media Arts 2013 at Bethany Lutheran College.

Each year, Bethany Lutheran College holds its Festival of Communication and Media Arts (FOCAMA) to exhibit its students' best student broadcast, video, motion graphics, and animation work from the past year. This stop-motion piece, which opened the 2013 festival, celebrates the planning and fine-tuning that goes into any quality production. A handmade aesthetic was chosen to echo these qualities.

City and country sets were textured with storyboards, shot logs, music scores, and other pre-production paperwork.

As the pieces of the production come together, they bring life to the paper landscape as the vision moves toward reality.
